Kickapoo Exchange Welcomes Customers In-Store
For almost fifty years the Kickapoo Exchange Natural Food Co-op in Gays Mills has made customers a priority and offering solely curbside service since the onset of Covid was one more way for them to do this. While this remains an option, on May 15th the store reopened its doors to the community, allowing them to shop inside for the first time in over a year.
“KEX has always been about community and cooperation, and our response to Covid was a manifestation of that. We’ve missed having our customers in the store, though, and are so happy to be welcoming them in safely,” said store manager Tracy Lacina. “We are always adding new products, and have been making some changes we think customers will love. Stop in, see what’s here, and have a cup of coffee and a chat.”
In order to ensure everyone’s safety, volunteers and staff are adhering to a rigorous cleaning protocol. In addition, we are requesting that masks be worn at this time.. Hand sanitizer and masks will be available for shoppers at the door.
Current hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11 to 5. Customers can stop by the store at 120 Sunset Ridge Ave. and will still have the option of calling orders into (608) 735-4544, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
